Ryan Lochte had been on the chopping block ever since his Rio scandal, where he lied to international officials about being robbed at gunpoint. Several people have voiced their opinions on how they feel about the situation and what his punishment should be on social media.
Although everyone thinks they know best, the only opinion that matters is that of the Olympic Committee. According to TMZ Sports, they passed the verdict today that Lochte will be on suspension for 10 months. The decision was made by both the USOC and the IOC.
Some are still questioning the the sentence, comparing the sentence to Michael Phelps’ suspension on ONLY 6 months, after getting a DWI. Afterall, that threatens lives instead of just reputation. What do you think?
